1. ORIGINAL CODE — MIT
Original application logic, HTML structure, CSS, JavaScript, Python, tests and workflow/configuration code are licensed under the unmodified MIT license in LICENSES/MIT.txt. This grant excludes third-party code and embedded artistic/literary content described below.

2. ORIGINAL ART AND WRITING — CC BY 4.0
Original narrative text, documentation prose, project-created artwork, original visual model/texture contributions, and original rendered visual content are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International:

This applies only to rights the author actually holds. In mixed files, programming instructions and markup are code; embedded prose and separately identifiable original artistic content are content. Original geometry-generating programs are MIT-licensed; identifiable original artistic output is covered by CC BY 4.0. Reused geometry, photographs, logos and textures retain their source terms.

3. THIRD-PARTY AND PUBLIC-DOMAIN MATERIAL
NASA and archival material, the Sketchfab 747 model, Poly Haven textures, dependencies, reference documents and other third-party components are excluded from the above project grants. Their own licenses, applicable legal status and source-specific conditions govern reuse. See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md and ASSET-LICENSE-MAP.csv.

Nothing here grants, relicenses, sublicenses or represents ownership of any right held by another person or organization, or grants permissions beyond those lawfully available from the original rights holders. Retain copyright and attribution notices where the applicable terms require them. Public-domain material remains public domain; these notices impose no new restrictions on lawful public-domain use or statutory exceptions.

The project supplies no additional trademark, logo, insignia, publicity, privacy, personality or endorsement permissions. Consult the applicable license and rights holder for permissions your use requires. No endorsement by NASA, an astronaut, an artist, or another credited organization is implied. NASA attribution identifies source material, not authorship or approval of this reconstruction.

This scope notice does not amend or add restrictions to MIT or CC BY 4.0. Their own terms and warranty disclaimers apply to their respective licensed materials. It does not create exclusive rights in AI-generated or other material for which such rights do not exist.
